Actress, dancer, singer Rita Moreno ("Anita" in the MGM film) described Leonard Bernstein's brilliant score as a "musical assault...of passion, wit, yearning, dissonance, intensity, joy, and sharp angles...a work for all the ages." The SWSS will present West Side Story, Mass, Peter Pan, On The Town, Candide, and Wonderful Town in an ever-fresh concert version that will shake the rafters of the Saber Center for the Performing Arts. Featured performers are Samual Piatt, Ben Robinson, Vanessa Rodriguez, Timothy Rebers, Alicia Berneche, Michael Scarcelle and Alisa Jordheim.
